SASSY, Scholastica Alums Still Serving Youth, was formed by St. Scholastica Academy, Chicago, young alums and supporters in 2012. SASSY holds social and service events throughout the year. Fundraising events and donations are used to fund a scholarship program for girls in the Chicagoland area who attend single-gender Catholic schools.

SASSY Mission Statement:
The mission of SASSY (Scholastica Alums Still Serving Youth) is to continue the connection and support traditionally shared among the members of the St. Scholastica Academy community. Our focus is to unite its members to benefit and serve youth while reflecting the tenets of Benedictine education as expressed at the Academy: Love of Learning, Stewardship of Gifts, Sense of Balance, Respect for the Individual, and the Importance of Community.
