Sister Susan Quaintance, OSB offered a lovely welcome home reflection with special emphasis on servant leaders. "We lost one of the brightest stars in the pantheon of servant leaders this week. Rosie Randle, mother of Susie Craig, class of 1970, died last Sunday night, completing a life of doing just what the gospel asks of us. For over thirty years, Rosie worked on the maintenance staff in school, and she indeed served the students, staff, faculty, and administration, all of whom she called "her babies." Though part of her service was her manual labor, the much greater part was the example of how she performed it. Rosie's time was spilled out for others, from the lowliest freshman to whoever was president of the school. She greeted everyone she met throughout the day with authentic respect and unconditional love. She spoke easily and readily of her great faith, making it clear that God was the source of her strength and compassion. Even if you didn't know Rosie, you have known someone like her. Let us be grateful for their presence and example." Read the full reflection here.

The Sunday Sept. 19th luncheon at Chateau Ritz was filled with laughter, tears, and hugs abound for the memories shared at St. Scholastica together. We are grateful to our 50th anniversary speakers Di Murphy '70 and Bonnie Bertuca Lamondi '71 for their wonderful words of encouragement and wisdom.

Nancy De Napoli '71 modeling the gym uniform was a great highlight of the day too!

Special shout out to the class of 1981 for having the most Susie's in attendance and well done class of 2001 for remembering your Freshmen and Senior songs! We look forward to celebrating with you again soon.
