The Feast of the Presentation (also known as Candlemas Day; the day on which candles are blessed symbolizing Christ who is the light of the world) is also World Day for Consecrated Life. Those in consecrated life are called to reflect the light of Jesus Christ to all peoples and we honor the gift of consecrated persons for the entire Church on this day. We will Celebrate World Day for Consecrated Life on February 2, 2019. (USCCB.org)
