    Open House Chicago - Great Success!

    On Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20th Chicagoan's embarked on the highly anticipated Open House Chicago weekend. In its 9th year, St. Scholastica Chapel was once again chosen as one of the site locations. Between Saturday and Sunday, Sisters and Oblates, welcomed over 270 guests, neighbors, and even a few alumnae to our home!     St. Scholastica Labyrinth Celebrates 20 Years

    Groundbreaking of the St. Scholastica Labyrinth, 1999. In 1999, Regional Representative of the Labyrinth Society, and Oblate at this Monastery, Dan Raven built the St. Scholastica Monastery Labyrinth. Dedicated to Sister Marilyn Wolfgram, OSB, it is modeled after the labyrinth found in the Chartres Cathedral in France. Labyrinth's are a way for Christians to take a pilgrimage of the heart without having to travel far distances. Walking the labyrinth is a peaceful and prayerfu
