The IRA Charitable Rollover is Back!

 

On January 1, Congress passed The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.  This law extends the opportunity for donors who are 70½ or older to make a transfer from their IRA accounts directly to the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago without having to pay income tax on that distribution. 

You can make a qualified charitable contribution of up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago for tax year 2013.

I am happy to provide you with more information and assist you, or your tax advisor, with this IRA distribution to the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago which will support the community’s ministries and provide for the care of retired Sisters.
